A number of improvements and innovations were incorporated in the 2nd Generation model, featuring a red headband and red anodized body, starting in May 2016. Additional improvements were introduced in September 2017 and model name was changed to WorkStar® 621. Additional improvements were introduced in August 2019 and model name was changed to WorkStar® 630.
