Q. Will the LED break or wear out?
A. No, the LED (light emitting diode) is a solid state device that has a life of over 10 years continuous use.
Q. How tough is the WorkStar™ 440?
A. Very tough — the WorkStar™ 440 will survive a six foot drop onto a concrete floor (but please don’t do this too often, or from a greater
height).
Q. Is my WorkStar™ 440 waterproof?
A. No, the WorkStar™ 440 is equipped with rubber O-rings and is water resistant but should not be immersed in a liquid.
Q. Can the WorkStar™ 440 use recharageable batteries?
A. The WorkStar™ 440 is supplied with two AA alkaline batteries, but it is compatabile with nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries as well.
