The Maxxeon WorkStar® 440 Flexible LED Inspection Light is designed for illuminating hard-to-reach places on all equipment and vehicles. Compared to ordinary LED flex lights, the LUXEON® Rebel high-performance LED provides up to 20 times more light and runs for close to 2 hours on two AA alkaline batteries (included).

A rugged 10" long gooseneck flexes to avoid obstructions in close quarters, and the small diameter of the light head allows access to tight areas. A tapered head design reduces snagging when the tool is removed from inspection areas. The gooseneck is covered with a tough PVC tube that protects the neck from dirt, grease and most liquids.

The tough T6 aluminum body is anodized black and is virtually indestructible. All threaded joints have rubber O-ring seals, so it is water resistant. The rugged tailcap switch is rated at 100,000 cycles and is sealed to avoid contamination by dirt and grit.

Hey Maxxeon, you'll like this. I was helping a friend install a new car radio. I hung my Workstar 1400 from the sun visor and it lit up the whole dashboard. As I was hooking up the wires to the back, the antenna wire dropped out of site. My friend had workstar 440, so we stuck it into the dash, found the wire and fished it out. Then as we were trying to put the final mounting screw in, it dropped down into the abyss. For a while we were thinking that five out of six screws weren't bad. Then I opened up my 1400 and took out one of the magnets and taped it to the head of the 440. Bingo, the 440 lit up the hole beside the air bag controller and out came the screw! My brother was putting rear speakers for his new HDTV in his rec room and was having trouble fishing one of the wires. I took over my WorkStar 440, stuck it into the hole in the wall and in no time we had the wire pulled through. Can't imagine doing this with any other light.
